Best Bottomless Afternoon Tea in London for 2026

Some of the best things in life are bottomless, though mainly Prosecco, Champagne, and cocktails. We’ve tried and tested some of the best spots in the city to bring you our top 10 bottomless afternoon teas in London for 2025. The list wasn’t easy to narrow down (it’s a tough job, but someone had to do it), but these are the ones we’d genuinely recommend.

As always, this guide is completely independent: no paid placements, no hidden agendas – just honest reviews to help you find the best bottomless afternoon tea for your next treat.

Top 10 bottomless afternoon teas in London reviewed

1. Bottomless Champagne afternoon tea at The Rubens at the Palace

Overlooking the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, the afternoon tea at Rubens at the Palace pairs classic British elegance with unlimited Champagne for 90 minutes.

If you’re not distracted by the fizz, the menu, crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Houghting, is as exquisite as the setting. You’ll be treated to indulgent sweets like the Coffee Crown (a creamy mascarpone mousse layered with espresso and coffee genoise), the Hazelnut Roche (packed with praline and Jivara Supreme chocolate), and a zesty Citrus Pistachio Tart finished with lemon madeleine and pistachio whipped ganache.

  • Choice of alcohol: Champagne
  • Bottomless time: 90 minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 4/5
  • Price: £115 per person

2. Sushi tapas afternoon tea with bottomless fizz at Inamo

Inamo’s ‘Sushi & Asian Tapas’ afternoon tea swaps cucumber sandwiches and sponge cake for bang bang cauliflower, vegetable tempura, coconut milk ice cream, and pistachio macarons. It’s very fun and very tasty!

For 60 minutes, you also get bottomless Prosecco. Though most on our list actually opt for 90 minutes of bottomless action, this one is more on the affordable side – so you get what you pay for. (And in our experience, they were pretty consistent with the top-ups.)

The real standout? The interactive projector tables. You can watch the chef live on the “chef cam,” play retro games, or graffiti your tabletop. It’s afternoon tea with a techy twist, and it’s no surprise Inamo was voted Best Brunch in Central London by TimeOut’s LoveLondon Awards.

  • Choice of alcohol: Prosecco
  • Bottomless time: 60 minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 4/5
  • Price: £121.95 for two

They offer a classic afternoon tea menu with tried and tested favourites – think dainty cucumber finger sandwiches and homemade scones (which were particularly great and came warm and fluffy). When it comes to the bottomless aspect, you get 90 minutes to guzzle as much Prosecco as you like. We really liked the overall vibe of Reform Social – it takes inspiration from a British gentlemen’s clubs and has comfy leather seats and a more sophisticated vibe – we rate it!

5. Bottomless afternoon tea at St Ermin’s Hotel, St James’ Park

Housed in a Grade II-listed Victorian building, St. Ermin’s Hotel is an absolute little gem. You enter through a lush courtyard, very Secret Garden-esque, before walking into the elegant, all-white hotel interior.

The bottomless afternoon tea swaps Champagne for Crémant, a crisp, pear-y sparkling wine. It’s often described as a lighter alternative to Champagne, though I personally think it’s not quite got the refreshing kick that Prosecco has. The afternoon tea is classic and tasty – the sweet selection is particularly creative, with standouts like the banana and rum tartlet with candied walnut, a zesty yuzu caramel macaron, and a delicate matcha cheesecake topped with orange blossom cream.

  • Choice of alcohol: Crèmant (sparkling wine)
  • Bottomless time: 90-minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 3.5/5
  • Price: £62 per person
  • Location: A two-minute walk from St James Park

6. Tapas-style afternoon tea with bottomless cocktails at Map Maison, Hackney

Just outside of Haggerston station, Map Maison delivers a delightful tapas-style afternoon tea. You get to tuck into a really creative menu – mini sourdough baguettes, mini burgers, mini banoffee pieces and fun cheesecake desert shots.

But the real star is the bottomless cocktails – it’s so rare to find bottomless cocktails in any capacity. They were on the smaller side, and by that I mean they came in small-ish glasses. When we went, we had a choice of three cocktails – though I think this has changed since and there’s a more extensive selection.

The downside? They currently can’t accommodate dairy-free or vegan afternoon tea!

  • Choice of alcohol: Cocktails
  • Bottomless time: 90-minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 3/5
  • Price: £60 on weekdays
  • Location: Near Haggerston station

7. Bottomless afternoon tea at Cafe Rouge

Café Rouge is a cheap and cheerful bottomless option. There are several locations across the city, plus the food is really great – so thumbs-ups all round. The menu features a croque monsieur and croque champignon to share – melty, golden and very cheesey. You’ll also get freshly baked fruit scones served with clotted cream and strawberry conserve for that essential sweet finish.

Sure, the portions are little smaller than more premium venues, but the bottomless Prosecco keeps flowing – and that’s the main thing. One of the most affordable afternoon teas in London, it’s perfect for a casual afternoon catch-up that still feels like a treat.

  • Choice of alcohol: Prosecco
  • Bottomless time: 90-minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 4/5
  • Price: £34.99
  • Location: Multiple locations, but we liked Greenwich!

8. Bottomless afternoon tea at The Athenaeum, Mayfair

The Athenaeum in Mayfair proudly holds five red stars and two red rosettes from the AA – so it means business. This is a classic afternoon tea done with polish, but with a couple of standout twists: unlimited tea and sandwiches, which is a rare and welcome touch at a five-star hotel.

The food is delicious and includes carefully displayed cakes on a stand resembling a blossoming tree – think matcha and yuzu cheesecake and strawberry and cream cakes. You can upgrade to free-flowing Prosecco for £20 more – and they are super prompt at re-filling, I have to say!

  • Choice of alcohol: Prosecco
  • Bottomless time: 90 minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 4/5
  • Price: £80 per person
  • Location: Just opposite Green Park

9. Bottomless Champagne afternoon tea at The Montague on the Gardens, Covent Garden

Just literal steps from the British Museum, The Montague on the Gardens is best known for its idyllic gardens. Whether you’re seated in the elegant Leopard Bar or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the private Bedford Estate, this is a bottomless afternoon tea with real charm. You get 90 minutes of unlimited Champagne and a beautifully presented traditional afternoon tea. The food is classic and comforting, featuring finger sandwiches, warm plain and fruit scones and a seasonal selection of delicate pastries.

  • Choice of alcohol: Champagne Lanson
  • Bottomless time: 90 minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 4/5
  • Price: £160 per person
  • Location: Opposite the British Museum

10. Bottomless bubbles Wizard afternoon tea at Georgian House Hotel, Pimlico

You’re a wizard, Harry! This Wizard afternoon tea at Georgian House Hotel is as magical as it is delicious. Served in a whimsical birdcage-style stand (or owl cage, if you prefer), you’ll enjoy three courses of sweet and savoury delights.

You start with a “wizard potion” which has a very cool colour-changing gin, and then you can enjoy 90 minutes of bottomless Prosecco as you tuck into themed treats with plenty of character.

Vegetarian and vegan options are strong here too – standouts include the cucumber and vegan cream cheese sandwich with cracked black pepper on white bread. Fun, theatrical, and surprisingly refined, it’s a quirky option that still delivers on quality.

  • Choice of alcohol: Prosecco
  • Bottomless time: 90 minutes
  • Rate of top-ups: 4/5
  • Price: £60 with bottomless
  • Location: A five-minute walk from Victoria station
